After looking in the TRE files a bit (naughty), I have discovered that the DWB Quests have been updated so that upon completeion instead of the piece of Mandolorian Armor, you get a 1 use Schematic for that piece, which you can then have crafted with your Assault Armor Core, and you get to pick the colors! Those with existing pieces must go to the RIS quest NPC and he will refund your armor piece for a Schematic of that piece so yyou can get it crafted. All RIS certified AS's will also need to go to him to get your schematics updated as the Appearance schematics are in a different path then the armor pieces of old.

Oh I forgot, there is also stuff in Publish 15 for crafted Bounty Hunter armor, might be loot schematics from DWB or also done in the crafting room.

Is there anyway to determine resource requirements for cu armor from the .tre files?

That would be very beneficial, I'm wondering what maurader armour needs, and of course the factional armour

So the crafting terminals will give a schematic, thats good. I'm assuming that since you say you can choose the cores, that all 10 schematics are for armoursmith, but is it still DE/Tailor/AS who uses the terminals to make the schematics?

Correct, there is also a mention of Master Artisan crafting the schematics too though. Will have to wait and see to know who does what for sure.

What difference does it make? As an armorsmith I have Master Artisian, Master Armorsmith and Master Tailor and the marksman/pistol treeso the odds of me ever going to the DWB are remote.

Most crafters have little to no combat, thats why they are pretty much "hired" by DWB groups to come along and craft while the group protects them. Its a long boring tiem of standing around doing nothing but trying not to die but you do get to craft at the very end.

Yea, its not as easy as you say though. BDs and NPCs do AOE attacks, and if you're in a tight area, like one of the corridors, you're more than likely to get hit. Having no armour is a big problem in the DWB. Chances are the team will have a Doc with them to rez the crafter if he gets killed, which there is a fair chance of, if they have no armour. However, an un-buffed, unarmoured crafterwill have lots of problems in the mines, which is where their life is really important. Having said that, it will probably give us more incentive to go make the modified rebreathers, to allow the crafters to survive unbuffed in the mines.
Once the Blue Frogs start dishing out master professions, I'll rally Chilastra's expert team and we'll go see how it works out for us. (hopefully I'll be able to convince a dev to lend us some components, for testing purposes of course.

I'm going to assume that since it takes a master artisan to craft a jetpack, being a vehicle, that this is what the tre file is talking about. So you get a one time schematic for jetpacks... I wont even entertain the thought of making it a schematic since you would need same serial components.
This will be nice for those wanting to make a complete set ./hod; /agree; /mood happy;
