I just hitMAS on TC5 and want to start playing around but there are way to many resources to look thru for the non named ones.
Has anyone seen anything?
well since you were the first or among the first... it would be your duty to the community to make that list
and yes there is a post...

I am assuming you know that mineral and gas resources and some chemicals come in resource families with different stat caps since your sig says you are an armorsmith on live.
Hence, to choose the best steel for instance you won't have to search through all 25 as many of them will have very low SR, or UT/DR anyway. Just choose the each of the top 3-4 in each family and you should find your best option within those.
Top 4 in steel are in acending order are, with their approx range caps for DR, SR and UT:
Ditanium Steel: DR 785 - 865, SR 785 - 865, UT 742 - 838 Quadranium Steel: DR 835 - 915, SR 835 - 915, UT 802 - 898 Carbonite Steel: DR 885 - 965, SR 885 - 965, UT 862 - 958 Duralloy Steel: DR 935 - 1000, SR 935 - 1000, UT 922 - 1000
Quality is uncapped.
Similar family exist for iron, copper, aluminum.
All of the cap range information is available on swgcraft, or in a sticky on this forum I think.
If I wanted a lecture I would have asked for one, I did not ask what the caps were on the resources but only if someone had made a list of them as yet on the forums. Yes I am aware of the extremes of resource stats and yes I know which ones typically fit within the “best” range. My point is do I feel like sitting in front of a frog pulling every resource I need to use wasting time or… IS THERE A LIST ALREADY MADE. Simple question, not a hard one to understand.
On that note, I’ll stop posting and simply go on as I have been. Enjoy the CU.
Sorry, I wasn't lecturing you, just trying to be helpful
Its sometimes difficult to guess how much folks know when they post. You mentioned searching through 25 steels to find a good one, so I wasn't sure whether you knew about stat caps and resource families etc, possibly you could have been fairly new to crafting/armorsmith etc as I would have only searched through 3 or 4 andpicked thebest one.
Also, the resources on the blue frogs are subject to the same shifting rules as in live and so any list that is made will soon be out of date.
Good luck to you too. If you can post the rest of the schematics as you suggested you would that would be helpful to the community. I am still gridning my way to MAS on TC when I can actually manage to log on ![]()
I’ll gladly post up the schematic costs once I get home, I’m anxious to see how things come out.

I apologize for biting your head off, been working on 2 hours of sleep a night between grinding and issues at work. My eyes are going to fall out at this point and my sex life is ruined forever from all the clicking.

we are too... and since you are having a head start.... if you do find any resources you feel are "high end" please PM or grab us a few extra...
if we manage to get as close to theoretical max as possible across the board we could better experiment and understand how it will turn out on Live so they can tune up or tune down the numbers now before we get a nother combat upgrade in 2 years =P
so yeah.. please let me know if you come across any resources you feel ar really good.. i will take the time to grab a lot from the frogs and store them for use for the guild
