I've heard through the grapevine that Giant Peko Peko Albatross Feathers are going to be a part of a new type of armor. Can anyone confirm this, and if so what does everyone think the value of this loot will be?
Please forgive me if this has already benn covered in another thread, just post a link to it if you will.

The feathers are part of the yet-to-be-live R.I.S armor. not sure what the loot value would be.

Peko Peko feathers aren't that rare, I killed 3 Albatrose, and looted 2 feathers. I'd pay 50k max. Some of the others though, I'd EASILY pay 200k a piece.

Apparently the north part of naboo, but i've yet to ever run into one, and I've ran around a bit north of theed and keren

on bloodfin they go for about 250k since you only need one to complete the quest and the ore is harder to find than the feather is.

ok cool , thanks. ore huh? i scoop that up alot have to make notes.
too bad wasnt a mil, i have 6 of those feathers. would help alot to keep my ore prices down

I remember reading that these could be used in regular armor. Anyone tried this?If so what types of armor can it be used in and is it worth it?
If I missed the thread for this, can someone redirect me? I spent 15 minutes wrestling with the search engine but to no avail.

Everytime I run into a Peko Peko, I hope to loot one of the desired feathers...I have never successfully looted a feather even though I havesuccessfully annihilated many many many. I ran into a Peko Peko "Albatross" for the first timethe other day and was unprepared for the fight that ensued. Still, no Peko Peko feather. My questions are these... What type of Peko Peko do the feathers come from (ie., regular peko peko and/or albatross) AND how does one harvest the feathers (I always just "loot"). Thanks.

They only come from the Albatross and yes they are loot , not harvested. They are also largely useless as armoursmiths can make better layers for RIS and tend not to use them.

Peko Peko Feathers and the other 3 R.I.S. armor component loots (woolamander harrower bones, giant dune kimogila scales, gurk king hides) are bugged at the momemt and DO NOT DROP for the time being. I know thisto bea 200% fact because i have tried to hunt them all and have not looted anything and was told in-game by a CSR that the drops on them are bugged but are being worked on. I have bought all of my resources for R.I.S. and overall cost me about the same as if i were to just buy my suit.
