Is it just Starsider, or are critters of any sort getting rare on Naboo for all servers?

I searched through the whole bazaar and entire universe of vendors, and found 4 listings for Nabooian Bristley. Three were for lots of 2000 hides of poor quality for 10 CPU. The other was for 25 units of good quality.

Since there was such a lack of hides for sale, I went out to hunt hides on my own. I spent two days hunting hides, and have noticed that there are hardly any animals on the entire planet. At one point, I walked from Theed down to the southern edge of the map, and didn't see a single mob of any sort on the way.

After my two play sessions, which combined for a total of about 8 hours, I managed to get about 5k hides. To make matters worse, the resource shifted from a good quality hide to a mediocre quality between sessions, so I only have about 2.5k hides of each kind.

The one trend I've noticed is that there are way more spawns in clusters of houses near the NPC cities. There is absolutely nothing in the wilderness, where one would expect to find wild animals. To top it off, I can't seem to get any missions that spawn mobs that produce bristley fur.

Is anybody else having this issue, or did I just miss the areas with heavy population of critters in my wanderings around Naboo? Or is the spawn machine on my server broken?

try the narglatch cave south of Moenia on Naboo. they drop bristly hides i am not sure if vermooks do too their cave is near deeja peak.

If I need Naboo bristley, I go to a Naboo Player City and take high level Tusk Cat Missions. It rolls in quick.

How high a level are Narglatches in the cave and Tusk Cats missions? My combat character is level 73, and struggled with the wild tusk cat lairs he found. They seemed extremely overpowered for level 14 critters. The wild Narglatches were two shot kills mostly, but they might be tougher in the cave.

The Tusk Cat missions will be within 2 levels of the highest level character in your group. And remember, higher level creature = more hides per kill.

You can get high level tusk cat missions in Moenia.

I think spawns are down naboo has started to resemble Rori, completely devoid of life. Oh and don't get down on the bazaar whatever was good I cleaned off it yesterday

we just had a 925 oq/sr nab bristley spawn, i have around 1.2mill of it from lvl 80 tusk cat missions.

Thanks for the help. I got Tusk Cat missions, which capped at level 50. I also investigated the Narglatch cave, but they were in the 20s or low 30s, so I figured I could gather faster on level 50 Tusk Cats.

Go to Moenia. You can get level 80 missions out of there.

I would, but I'm only CL 73. The highest level missions I could take confidently is maybe level 65-70.

A guildmate and I did this a few weeks ago..In an hour or so we gathered over 200k of hide.

In that case, you'll be able to get level 72-75 tusk cat missions from Moenia. The missions will stil be level appropriate; Moenia just offers the highest ones.
