yeah save the grind and the skill points and get some merchant instead. If you plan to go into buisness youll need the vendor space. Just ask a tailor to make a schem from your resources. Most tailors on my server do that free of charge. I tip them anyway, but thats up to you.

I am currently attempting to become a Armorsmith. However I know very little about crafting, and I am learning as I go. My goal was to become Master Artisan/ Master Weapnsmith/ Master Armorsmith...

However I have been told that Armorsmith alone cannot make armors, and that Tailoring skills are needed.

AllI need to know is: Is Master Tailor required, or can I go up one branch of Tailor?

Any responses would be very helpfull, and much apreciated.

Thank you.

Thanx for the replies. they were all very helpfull. Now I can go Master Artisan/Master Weaponsmith/Master Armorsmith/Tailor 0300/ and /Merchant 0004 with sp to spare, and access to 9 vendors.

You were all very helpfull. Thanx again.

My advice would be to get Merchant 3xxx so you can list your vendor (that's unless you're gonna be in a mall or something).

Nobody willnotice you even have vendors unless they can see them on the overhead map.

Or you could grind out tailor 0200 and make 50 schematics for reinforced fiberplast and synthcloth before you drop it again - just be sure to stock up on fiberplast and some metal first. Oh, and do keep the resources for those schematics in a seperate container so you don't sell them by accident.

My advice is a little different. I agree with the having Merchant 3 (Planet Advertising), and Ialso likebeing able to make my own Tailor components, because when you NEED a tailor most is when you won't be able to find one.

Now my suggestion is don't try to Master BOTH Weapons and Armor. Each of these disciplines requires a comittment of time, money, resourcs, and patience. For someone new to crafting, I would argue you are taking on too much. Focus on 1 or the other, and find a niche in your market space to be able to sell your wares.

Good luck.

Agreed. MWS and MAS are 2 of the more complex grinds. I would recommend doing just one or the other til you get use to the crafting process and the bulk requirement of resources you are going to need. My template is MAS/Martisan/Mmerchant/tailor 0/4/1/0. This works wonders and I hardly run out of vendor space and Im also finding that with MAS atm, its impossible to keep up. I stocked 600 to 1000 peices of armor a week, most done via hand because of the crafting crate issues with colors.
