Thread: Macro for grinding Ubese shirts?

For some reason my macro which I've used to grind on other stuff up to 3xxx won't work on Ubese shirts. It won't give me any xp from it, even though the resources are used up.

Can anyone give me a macro which they know works on them?

Here's mine:

/ui action toolbarSlot00;
/selectdraftSchematic 120;
/pause 4;
/nextcraftingstage;
/nextcraftingstage;
/createPrototype practice noitem;
/createPrototype practice noitem;
/pause 2;

Since you have to craft ubese shirts at a crafting station there is an extra step in the process, thus you need to add one more /nextcraftingstage command.

See this thread for reference.

Also, you may want to consider swapping out the /selectdraft schematic command with a /uiaction defaultbutton command. This would mean you have to open up the crafting tool before you start the macro and select the ubese shirt schematic but then you don't have to go through the tedious process of finding the right schematic number again every time you fill a box.

Ah ha, I thought it might have been something to do with the crafting station, or droid in my case.

Well it only takes me 15-20 mins to find the schematic so I don't mind it really

Thanks for the quick reply anyway

As the Guiness Draft guys say, BRILLIANT!!

Glad I finished all my grinds before the devs added the feature of draft schematics shifting order every time you gain a new skill ... all the same, this is something I'll share with my friends grinding out crafting professions.

BRILLIANT!!

I've tried the macro listed in the first box of this thread with one xtra /nextcrafting stage thingy but it doens't seem to be working at all. The icon in the toolbar just starts blinking and bleeping then a ton of crafting session ended messages flash accross the screen until it say someting like too many commands cued or something. And i get no xp at all. What did i do wrong?Can someone plz list an ubese shirt macro for those of us that need to be told everyting like we are 5 years old?Thanks

instead of finding a schematic number use /ui action defaultButton to select the previous schem u used, works great

I think maybe you should try adding a pause after the /ui action toolbarSlot00 command...the tool has to have time to load and depending on your connection speed/server load this may take a while. Tweak that a bit and see what happens. Also here's a darn good site for help with the crafting macro. You'll know you got it to work when the ingredient selection screen pops up.

Have fun!

found a few things yesterday writing a macro, wich i have not done in an extreamly long time. if you cant find the Schem you can open the tool and in chat type /sel # you can see what the tool will select. you do have to hit the back button and type /sel again to do another selection. Also to mace macros easier the command line /nextcraftingStage can be replaced with just /next and you have to have 3 if near a crafting station. you also can input /sel # instead of selectdraftingSchematic# works just the same. and the /ui action defaultButton well i heard it works but i could not get it to work. supposedly you have to go through each tool and select what you want to craft then hit back and exit for each tool, this is supposed to preload your tool for the defaultButton command.

Hope some of this helps but it is on on thread i read through the tailor forum. Good Luck macroing!

This is what I'm using, and it works perfect for me. I have two macros - one master macro and one slave macro. They are shorter and easyer to manage: The First macro switches the tools. For crafting Ubese shirts I use more than 5 tools, but I wont repead all the lines, as every can do that for his needs. You have to place pause between the slot command and starting the slave macro, to give time for the loading of the schematic. I found out that the slave macro has to wait 2 sec after the slave macro is finished, to give time for the 5 commands in the end to finish threir job. Otherwise you are getting the message "You are crafting already". The two macros are made for use with crafting station. You can remove one crafting stage when you are not infront of a crafting station.

/ui action toolbarSlot00;
/pause 1;
/macro slave;
/pause 5;
/ui action toolbarSlot01;
/pause 1;
/macro slave;
/pause 5;
.......
/ui action toolbarSlot07;
/pause 1;
/macro slave;
/pause 5;
/macro master;

The second macro with the name "slave"

/ui action defaultButton;
/pause 3;
/next;
/next;
/next;
/createProtoype practice noitem;
/createPrototype practice noitem;

I have a third macro with the /dump command, but you can dump your macros as you find it easy for yourself.

Very nice use of the dual macro system. I know alot of people that just cant get this type of macroing down. Ill have to see if i can incorperate a macro like this for making some components. Im MAS but im working on the final part of tailor on my other account since i have problems finding tailors. Very nice work!

i don't know man, r u the only one?
either u r very good or, well, i will spare you any offensice language.

grinding is always boring. especially for crafters. i can't understand why everyone complains about wannabe jedis and their ueber grinds. at least they do it in groups. a crafter is alone. period. unless u follow ur guild chat constantly, but that interfers with your click orgies for the crafting process.

so why not use the macros when available? it's the result that counts. no one cares how u did it in the end, as long as you don't cheat. and even then probably noone would find out.
e.g. getting tailor 0200 for reinforced fpanel - man that was the most boring &*$% i ever done. thank god for macros. killing bol after bol is more fun...

one can ask the typical question of course "why grind? why not enjoy the game, bla bla bla etc. etc."
well, because it is boring. because the amount of exp to get to items that r sellable is insane (or rather the amount of exp gained from a crafting step). with the exception of some noobs no one will buy cheap armour with low stats. unless u r lucky and have ur shop in some of the typical larger "malls" on ur server. hence, u got to grind to make some decent stuff. and as a crafter there is not much to get from game content, unless you make a mixed combatant/crafter. and they r only average in the end....

and if u want to be provocotive towards me and ask why i am doing what i am doing - yes, i am considering dropping AS profession. for that matter even considering canceling my 2nd account where i have my AS. dunno yet. wait and see.
