Every time I read the AS forums, it makes me want to puke, bash the keyboard, quit the game, or want to smack some sense into every single DEV that wont listen to us.
First, any challenge in crafting has been removed
Second, they ruin any stockpile of valuable resources that I have been saving for 18 Months
Third, my absolutely awesome armor now, is essentially crap due to the conversion
Fourth, any armor I craft, I cannot wear unless I use an alt.
Fifth, any need for 12pts is now made useless because hinderances/encumberances are not experimental
Sixth, the resource requirements are insane
God knows how many more things I can add. Does anyone else feel this way? It takes 15k resources for one suit of layered battle armor. 10 of which are named, most of which aren't resources we have collected, and customers will expect armor to be uber along with the other types of armor (assault + recon). Anyone see something wrong with this picture? Anyone want to do a few of the things I listed above?
I'm seriouslytrying tokeep anoptimistic outlook, but everytime I read the AS forums, all I hear is bad news. This compounds with all the other changes and or things that have been happening outside the AS community.

I agree with all you have said. We are not real crafters if we dont have the challenge of balancing HAM and protection. The Dev's dont get it. All armor systems in history have required the designer to balance the wiegt of the armor and how much it protects. All dependent on the tatic's of the user.
The dev's keep saying we need the players to ware the right armor. Let us and our customers decide what the right armor is.
If someone wants to ware supper heavy armor with high HAM. Let them. The trade off being thay are not going to be able to do any speacial attacks. (assuming we can no longer buff secondaries)
The poeple who are working on the CURB, did not design the game. Thay have no idea why we became addicted to SWG in the first place.

Then stop reading the AS forums.
Trust me, it's a sanity-saver.

same thing for me man...
I come here and think "how can the manufacturer of a product be so out of touch with what consumers want?"
Its like ferrari making a 200,000$ mini-van that goes 45 mph....
Ferrari's customers dont want mini-vans, they want performance vehicles.
SWG customers dont want mind numbingly boring crafting and levels, we want the best crafting ever in a MMORPG like we had....
