-Yes, they are good. Not spectacular, but if you want an armor with a higher base %, they are good.

-Uhm... this gets complicated. You'll never find more than 6 (usually) with the same serial, and you need those for the segments in factory crates. I guess if you break it down, its like this:

ITEM :: # Of hides needed

Gloves :: 1 (no factory schematic needed)

Left Bracer :: 3 (1 for factory schematic... same goes for rest of the following)

Right Bracer :: 3

Left Bicep :: 3

Right Bicep :: 3

Helmet :: 4

Boots :: 3

Chest Plate :: 5

Leggings :: 4

i just looted 7 hide and 10 blood...NO SERIAL NUMBERS. what gives?

Loots over the last day have variably dropping without serials. Sometimes they will have them later, but not always. Non-serial stuff is nice, you can make schmatics that last much longer with things like that.

I thought making schematics with un-serialized enhancers was an exploit and a bannable offense, or am I wrong? I seem to recall hearing something to that effect about weaponsmiths who did krayt gun factory runs a bit back.

knowing SOE is probably is, but its stupid for penalizing people for using what the game gives them. If they don't wnat people using non-serialized stuff don't let drops drop without serials.

The problem was that there were legendary krayt tissues dropping without serial numbers. Stuff like +181 dmg. All you had to do was make a schematic, and you could put in the normal +30dmg ones with serials and you'd be making tons of incredibly good weapons by cheating the system into thinking you were using the 181's.

The hides/blood I looted last night didnt have a serial number, but when I logged on today, they did.
