I am aware that the spreadsheet still needs elaborate testing and improvements. By the way, I am very interested in your web application, Spyndel. Will be interesting to see if the results are similar. Oh and no I dont mind you posting about swgarmory at all. The more tools we have, the better for all of us.

this is great. i suggest a method of working in different types of layers into one combine. that is the big problem we have right now. hard to determine what do use when we are making kinetic/energy/electric or kinetic/electric/energy/acid composite. consider that for the future and we will all be immensly happy

I wanted to integrate expected experimentation outcomes into the Armor Dictionary also, however, I had no idea how to calculate the formulas. It was also requested by many people as a function they wanted to be added. I'm glad someone is working on it!
Also, would you be opposed to adding your work to the Armor Dictionary? Since you're running it off Excel, it would be a welcome addition to make the spreadsheet as a "one-stop" armorsmith resource tool. If not, I understand... Let me know and keep up the outstanding work!
Thanks for taking the time to do this it's gonna get used an awful lot by me at least.
Are there plans to make versions that would calculate weights on full suits and/or is there any way that segment enhancers (eg NS Shards/Layers etc) could be worked into the equation? I think this would be perfect as it is when working with rare looted parts that this spreadsheet would really come into it's own.

Great job but there seems to be some problems.
The forumlas are wrong perhaps. I'm not getting the same outcomes that this spreadsheet does.
Also here is a suggestion, Iuse 3 different types of kinetic layers.. maybe one layer with 3 pts in base, 2 other layers with 2 in base and 1 in kinetic resist etc. Would be nice to work on 3 different ata time. Thanks

In version 1.2 I have changed some of the formulas that calculate the intial percentages. A non-linear model seems to be better in describing the relation between average resource stats and experimental quality/resistance. The relation between HAM costs and experimental durability seems to be a complex one and the results are only crude approximations. A lot more testing will be needed to improve the predictions. I will be working on that.

I agree that having different types of layers would be nice. I am trying to come up with a way to implement this.
