Howdy,,

Was wondering if stacking armor experimentation (+1's) into 4 sockets (4 SEAS) is still bugged? Or do you actually need to buy +2 or higher to become a +12 smith. Hope its fixed cause I have around 5 +1 SEAS and id like to put a 4 in 1 peice of clothing, instead of buying +2 or higher (WAY MORE MONEY). Thanks guys

SEA's have been bugged since beta. The DEVs are too busy adding flashing lights to the space ships to actually fix anything thats wrong with the actual game itself.

From what I hear you can only put one of each type per piece regardless of sockets...if it did work the other way...wow, that would be sweet )

Be glad you can wear 9 pieces of clothing so you only need +2 and +3 to hit your 12 points...)

Correct, if you put a +1 armor exp into a peice of clothing that already has a +1, then only one of hte +1s will stick. Really irritating I know.

Its not so much its hard to fix its that they haven't tried. Fixing SEA's was never high on their list, so they never have done it.

If you put a +2 in a +1 you get the +2.

You can get the +4 experimentationif you can get a +8 one hand speed or more and apply this first.... (I think this is the way it works)

when he says 12pts, that means you need +20 exp, (each +10 = 1 exp), so with what you said you'd be an 11pt smith that needs +8 more to hit 12 pts

Correct me if I'm wrong, but most races can wear 9 pieces of clothing. So...If you wear 9 pieces and only put +2 on each one, thats +18 which leaves you a bit shy. If you put +2 on 7 pieces, that takes you to +14 and +3 on 2 pieces would add +6 more. +14 off of 7 pieces and an additional +6 off of 2 more pieces is +20. +20 would net you your 2 additional experimentation points in crafting. As a wookie, I can wear 4 pieces of clothing. For me to hit +20, thereby getting my 2 addtional experimentation points, I need to have 4 pieces of clothing with +5 experimentation to each to hit +20.

If you are trying to hit +12 (+20 in tapes),unless you are just a point or two away due to having a large tape, the +1's are basically useless. Buying several +2 and 2 +3 tapes is incredibly cheap compared to what 4 +5s would go for.

Unfortunately I'm not a 13 year old.

Eight. Shirt, Pants, Shoes, Gloves, Jacket, Hat, Belt, Bandolier. Most well of 'smiths will only use seven, since it's a royal PITA to take off your backpack to craft.

Hmm...I bet I can wear a bandolier, although I have never tried it and you never know considering a Wook can't wear a crafting apron. If that is the case then I can put together a different combo between 5 pieces of clothing. And, rest assured, I will find away to unequip by pack and equip a bandolier if it is the difference of a few million credits in tapes. Fortunately I have a house in a research center with my crafting station there, so it is no problem to just get the items I need and drop the pack.

Sorry to steal the thread, I'll stop now )

Wookiee

BELT ( yes there are belts wokiees can wear)

BANDOLIER ( yes on this one too)

helm ( or other headgear of choice)

gloves

Chestpiece

sigil wrap ( or other skirt of choice)

I don't know if the shoulderpad takes the chest slot or not..... haven't had a wookiee by my tailor shop to test it out.
