I was about to have my ST armor repaired when someone warned me and said that while they say it is possible to repair, that there is a bug and it fails 100% of the time.

Is this true?

Thanks much!

if you try to repair any type of armor with almost perfect you wil fail...and its common senes...why would you repair something that isn't needed? If it isn't broken, don't fix it! (broken in this term means when the armor's resistant starts to drop then its time to repair)

that person is a liar...you only fail to repair 100% if your armor condition is 0/45000 ... if you repair it b4 it reachs 2000/45000 you have a good chance to repair...I have done lots of ST armor repair and none failed except the one i didn't know about 0condition repair always fails

Well, you dont really need a armorsmith to fix it, just make sure that your repairtool is a very high qualitytool, i am not sure but i beleave that it dont really matter if you are a armorsmith or not. its all about the stats on your repairtool.

I'd feel safer with a Master AS doing it, even if it doesnt make a dif... you know... Just in case it does and we dont know it

One More question.... is there any way to be covert and wear it? I really dont PVP and I want to wear it mainly for RP fun... the StormTrooper Tailor

I am pretty sure it always fails. No personal experience with it but with my faction given imperial officer suit thing every piece fell apart when i tried to repair, and it just makes sense that ST armor would do the same

Humm I may try it on one piece and see what happens. I have a bracer down to almost 50%

Even if it crashes though it's still wearable right? Just no protection... of course since I dont really PVP or anything and I cant keep it on when covert It may just collect dust in my House anyhow.
