Thread: Anyone else do this?

Was fighting earlier today and I just always viewed this as "normal" for people to do.

Anyways I was fighting a BH and he was mind shotting me like mad, so I run towards him (no buildings around) and he starts running towards me figuring I'll die before I get to him and he wouldn't have to worry about me (I had maybe 2 or 3 shots to my mind left)

I get about 30m towards him and he's still running towards me, have a sliver of my mind pool left, I hit my button for my muon gold, BAM. 500 Mind back. The guy is kinda stunned cause he stopped moving all together. KD2, UH3 a few times, battles over

Conversation afterwards:

BH: **edit**? Exploiter

Me: How? How did I exploit?

BH: I saw you heal your mind, it's not possible in this game

Me: CMs can heal mind

BH: Are you a CM?

Me: Nope, popped a muon gold.

BH: **edit**? You can't do that, that's cheating

Me: I don't see how.

BH: (more whining about hte useage of muon to heal mind in PvP is "unfair", "cheating", and how I was an "exploiter")

After that I was thinking about why he'd call me this and I just never thought of people NOT using this to heal their mind.

Does anyone else do this? Do ya'll consider it "cheating" or "unfair" or "exploiting"?

I'm just curious, really, cause I've never had this happen (though I don't have to pop a muon very often cause my mind doesn't get that low very often unless I'm being kited).

I use a better cheat, the ultilate exploit : Angerian Fishake ( 500 mind bonus but its also a 500 "insta heal )

hmm Fishak? I've heard of that, no downer too

But all the Master Chefs are pissy about it when you wanna buy some so I tend to stick with muon

I have both on my hotkey bar. Thats more like 1000 mind heal in a pinch and sometimes i can use 2 of the fish drink allowing for 1500 mind heal.

That guy was a fool. Foods and spices used to take time to build up the bonus and the devs changed it to insta buffing So no its not an exploit but working as intended.

I tend to keep my food/drink full with Breath of Heaven (+500 strength, quickness and Focus for approx 5 minutes) and Vegeprine <sp?> (+182 constitution, stamina, willpower for 4 minutes, can eat 2 at a time) I keep a factory crate of Muon gold in my backpack for emergancy situations when I go low on mind.

In no way is this cheating, this fellow was just upset that he lost a kill he felt was "Rightfully" his, due to something he didnt understand.

The chaps a fool if he thinks popping a muon is exploiting.

The only time I wouldn't consider using it is in a duel where rules had been agreed not to take stims/spices/food/TKA buffs etc.

I don't know, everytime I ask a Master Chef if he could make some Fishak for me they say something around the lines of "go away, I don't have any fishak"

Like none of them are willing to make any or something

Try placing a special order via an email.

The resource requirements for this stuff is rather specific; I imagine people do not carry all of them where ever they go, or would want to stop whatever they are doing to craft a few.

It also doesn't help that every third person probably asks them for Fishak.

I'm pretty lucky, though. My guild has an aspiring TK / Chef.
