Ok Quick Question needing a Fast answer, Any of you that are DE's that made a mando helm that didnt have Master Armorsmith, but had +64 in droid custom can you make the helm All black? thats all I need to know you can reach me on Gorath or post here please hurry!!

don't believe that black on black is in the color palet

I think more points in DE customization adds browns and coppers.

So is that from a Master DE alone? or is that With Master AS cause I heard Master AS's get to use their colors in crafting

Master armorsmith gets to use the full palette on the items they craft. Droid engineers are stuck with a limited palette whether they are master AS or not. The colors available to a DE are based on their droid customization skill, which is very lower compared to an armorsmiths armor customization skill.

ahh so no matter MDE/MAS or not they only get the limited pallete, so can a DE craft it and color it All black? if they can do tehy need the tapes?

Well, you saw the screenie. You'll note the two darkest colors are selected but the helmet isn't black.

damn so there is no way to get a black helm, i mean how black is that helm? I have a suit of BH armor thats done in black but Not sure if the helm is lighter or not

with DE customization tapes, there is a dark gray color that you can choose. it's the closest you are gonna get to black, but it is definitely gray, and not pure black.
