Ok, its my opinion BH armor should be craftable. Why, you ask? Allow me to explain:
The RAREST armor in the game, Mandalorian armor, is even craftable, you just have to do it in the DWB. I can accept that, because supposedly its the only place w/ a forge that can craft that armor, but once again, it IS craftable. BH armor on the other hand is only lootable, but this makes no sense. Why? For the simple reason of if its not craftable then where the hell do the black sun get it? Until it's been said by the Dev's that only the Black Sun have a forge capable of crafting BH armor, it defies logic that a master armorsmith shouldnt be able to craft the stuff too, if the Black Sun are getting somone to craft it for them. Now, with that reasoned out, it should be similar to RIS armor in my opinion. You should have to go on a quest to learn how to craft it, the components should be rare too, but it simply makes NO sense, logicly, to not be able to craft the armor or the Black Sun themselves wouldnt have any.

They dont make it craftable because you need it to craft the mand. Everyone would be running around in mand if this was so( which is rarer than RIS ) Plus it gives the average joe a chance to own it without being a multi millionare armoursmith who just wants it for makingthere shop look pretty.

And what is your point? That still doesnt explain the fact that its not possible for the armor NOT to be craftable if the Black Sun have it. And as far as Mando being 'rare', this is what the Devs said!
The following is a quote from Haden Blackman, LucasArts Producer : "We've had the Mandalorian Armor assets for some time (since well before launch), but we've always struggled to find a good way to integrate the armor into the game. Like Jedi, we didn't want Mandalorian Armor to become commonplace"
Apparently the definition of 'commonplace', used by the developers is not what most people would think. According to the last sentence in that quote, the developers think the jedi NOT being commonplace is having hundreds of them on every server running around, with many many more soon to come. So, if the developers wanted Mandalorian armor to be "Like jedi," than we SHOULD have tons of people running around in Mando
*just as a side note, I have a full suit of BH armor, so this isnt me trying to get a suit, its just because it not being craftable doesnt make any sense.

I wouldn't mind it being one of those rare looted schematics like night sister lances and such, I think it would be a nice addition to armorsmithing.

i just want to know where to get it i've been to yavvin and found some of the sneaky little black sun guys. but no drop. I heard that they are also on endor but i don't know where. I just want a set to be a little different. If anyone can help with a wp or something where they spawn alot, i'd appreciate it.

I just want a set to be a little different. If anyone can help with a wp or something where they spawn alot, i'd appreciate it.
If you want to find them on a regular basis Yavin is the place to do it. Go to the top outpost, exit the outpost, head north until you reach the shoreline. Follow the shoreline west and try to stay where the beach meets the forest. They spawn along that path very regularly, and I have found them many many times there. A hint: Kill one at a time. Dont alet the others. Why? If you do this and wait, the same guy will respawn. You can just keep doing this until theoreticly you could loot a whole suit of BH armor from one spawn point as long as u only kill one at a time(it would just take forever)

Do the Black Sun on Endor drop BH armor? I've killed about a dozen randomly and never got a single drop of anything.

No. Only the random spawns on Dathomir or Yavin-4.

BH armor isnt that rare, on my server sets for for 10-20 mil, RIS on my server costs a total of around 30 mil due to the price of all the components.

Maybe if we're lucky they will make it craftable when and if they decide to make faction armor craftable.

Maybe if we're lucky they will make it craftable when and if they decide to make faction armor craftable.
You can easily get 1 piece of faction armor a day w/out much trouble.

They should make it craftable from a limited use loot schem. Weaponsmiths have a few of these already why not us? To keep the Mando super rare, only allow looted BH armor to be used in Mando crafting. It would make the BH armor a little common, customizable and would give us something new to play with

Armorsmith has the limited use GEO bone schematics and GEO RIS schematics.
