Thread: Viability of 30k kits.
Looking through my notes, it looks like you can get by with 17 30k resource deeds if you want to get the best resources for everything you'd need to make layered RIS. 17 X 3mil = 51mil expenses.
At 6mil a suit, you'd have to sell 9 suits to break even.
Some of the resources needed for layers use roughly 3000 units per suit. So, you should be able to get at least 10 full suits from those 30k deeds. 10 x 6mil = 60mil.
60mil - 51mil = PROFIT! ... but I'm not sure if it's worth all the effort to get that many deeds. If you can manage to scrape enough good resources together so that you only need, say, 6 30k deeds, you'll make a lot more money (of course). Oh, and if you can manage to use those deeds on resources that have low unit/suit costs, you can stretch out their value even more.
Unless you intend to hunt all those GDK, Gurks and Woolamanders yourself, you need to factor that into the cost too. The profit will be shrinking rapidly...
But you will rarely need 30k kits for all resources, focus on the layer resources first and then the named resources for cores. It should be possible to find decent steel / iron / fiberplast and polymer on the market.
dunno how it's on your server .. but currently theressi deed prices are ona steep rise on Infinity .... sometimes p to 5millions or even more.

1000 layers make less than 3 suits
think about that before you start breaking out the kits
36 layers per core adds up fast (11 cores x 36 layers=396 layers per suit)

Wait, what am I missing?
Four layers per segment, three segments per core, eleven cores per suit: 4 layers x 3 segments x 11 cores = 132 layers per suit
Right?
