hi,
i am a bounty hunter and my favourite armousmith made me a crate of lightsaber PSG.
after 3 days in my inventory, the lightsaber resistance had vanished and the PSG isnt resistant to LS anymore.
Its not a vendor bug this time, the PSG really stayed 3 days in my inventory displaying LS resistance and today when i looged: nothing :/
very frustrating.
Does someone knows what s happening?

Use the radial menu on the crate to split off a new crate of 1. The new crate of 1 PSG will have LS resistance. Remove it from the crate, and enjoy LS resistance for a few hours.

Actually, Ive had a few BH customers tell me that even though Lightsaber is listed under the protections, that a quick scan through the combat log shows that the PSGs arent reducing damage at all. Ive never tried it myself, but Ive heard it from 3 other people so far (and yes, they know how to properly use PSGs.)

Tested. When using the method above, it blocks. Remember though, sabers are AP2 so there's a 25% bonus against AR1.
My 45% PSG's would actaully block 31.25% of damage due to the AP vs. AR bonus.

My PSG's were blocking lightsaber damage last night. They were crafted before the publish. Two dark jedi masters and a third lower level jedi were on me and every hit was reduced by the PSG. The condition on the PSG started at 3100 and ended up around 2200 or so when I died
I always delete any PSG's in my pack when first logging in for the day and pull fresh ones from a crate. Of course I also re-equip after shuttle trips, etc.

Sounds good. Just going by what was reported to me, but there is probably a bug or two in there somewhere.

I tested my PSG's that were made after the patch, they listed LS on them initially, then it dissappeared off the crates, if you take one out it is listed and does block LS damage

Sounds like most likely they do not know how to use them "right". Just remind them that they need to re-equip them anytime they cross a zone boundary or use a shuttle. Most likely they remember to do that after getting off the shuttle, but forget that they often cross into different zones while hunting for their Jedi marks causing the PSG to malfunction again.

I've tested this out with a jedi friend and can confirm that it works, some have LS resist others do not it seems kinda random.
If this is intended then we need to have the psg's uniformly protecting against LS attacks. I'd also like to add that this certainly seems to redress the balance versus jedi, which is sorely needed.

I have heard both ways, Yes, there are lightsaber PSG's and NO, there are no Lightsaber Defence PSG's. Could somone please fill me in on the truth and if there are....A waypoint to a vendor...Im in hte kettemoor server....Thanks a Bunch

Try searching for "LS PSG" or lightsaber PSG etc. There are a lot of other threads on this. Long story short is they are bugged.

I think the ls resist is dead now, I baught a crate which had the ls resist but as soon as it came off the vendor it disapeared, didnt really care was buying it cos it was good stats anyway.
