Well, here I am, still slightly surprised by the recent event and new responsibilitiesto be carried by mysmall shoulders. For those that do not know me, I have been around for more than 2 years and have been an Artisan/Armorsmith from the early days. I have probably spent more time surveying in the wilderness than most people have spent fighting...
It's been a while since I threw my hat in the ring, and even though I hadn't forgotten about it (who could, with all the "Givess a Corress" posts) I had almost resigned to the fact that the Caile-clone-robot would continue with the job. It's amazing what bio-technology and cybernetics can do these days...
*cough*
ok, back on track,sort of.
This is going to be a challenging and fun task. Yes, I am serious about the "fun" part too, because even though our beloved profession suffers from a few wounds and a solid dose of battle fatigue, it is still one of theaspects I have enjoyed the most with this game the last two years. And I even enjoy writing guides and answering silly questions about our profession.
The old days (read: pre-CU) are gone and will not return. That does not mean that our profession can't return toa fun and challenging profession again. My second priority will be to get more content for the Armorsmith profession, and fortunately we have lots of good ideas floating around on the forum in particular from certain former Correspondents...
That said, my first priority will be to assist in getting rid of some of the most aggravating bugs we currently have, and I hope I can call for help from some of you on Testcenter when the time comes.
Now that I have raised the bar, it is about time to come with usual words of caution. Getting rid of bugs and launching great, new content is not an overnight job. It will take time and it is likely that other parts of the game will have higher priority than us most of the time. I promise I will do my best to push for the AS community and our place in the sun, but I will need the help from everyone of you.
Feel free to PM me if you have any suggestions or ideas you don't want to put on the forums.
Finally, I would like to thank Caile for his efforts during his period as a Correspondent. He carried us through the turmoils during the CU, and also launched a great idea with the Armorsmith web-site. I hope I will be able to pick up where he left.
see you all soon...

I know you know what's important to us and will do all that you can (which we also know isn't much) to get it done! Congrats again!

See, I read that and the most recent event I thought of was our marriage. Then I then I saw the SWG corro icon and thought:
"OMG...I'll never get that new suit of armor now!!!!!!!"
*grin*
