im considering going armorsmith, an was gonna go thru the tailor tree to make my own stuff, but my question is how much of a pain is it to get the hides/bones we need as an armorer. is it easier to just get good pistol skills an do it our self or is it more reliable to pick a couple of scouts an pay them daily? to pay a scout daily to collect can get costly esp at novice smith since not alot of stuff will sell at novice. any suggestions will be most helpful

I wouldn't suggest paying a person per day to hunt for you - no telling what they will be doing (there are probalby many honest people out htere but a few dishonest ones can ruin it) - instead, be prepared to buy hides - once you get to offering enough money per hide, you will have people who will be willing to go out and collect hides for you. also, if you are just starting, i would suggest doing your own hide/bone collecting to begine with and just tossing the armor pieces away or try to give away - right now there are 10 billion novic armor smithings trying to claw their way up the ladder too - just accept losses and burnt he bones and hides on practice - of course this works best if you can take cash missions on the side to keep extractors going and whatever odds and ends you need.

As for what is enough per hide - you will be looking mostly for hides with high overal quality and malleability with shock resist and toughness secondary - mostly likely you will be paying 5-8 creds per hide. For really low quality hides (like what you will wanna use to just practice the smithing with) just use the cheapest easier to find ones you can.

get a lllc, level it up to at least llc 2 then come back trust me you will get much better payout per mission when you level up the llc.

With the near uselessness of carbines an LLC is a must to take marks.

What you need is to find a Bh mission terminla, accept a mission, then find the nearest spynet operative which are currently the informants, and they will give you the waypoint. If it is not neara town with a shuttle port it is suggested to abort and take another.

After that good luck taking the mark.

Because it's much quicker to get to mark if you don't have to walk across the map to get to them. You can take a larger number of missions in a much smaller amount of time.

Umm I said NOT near a town with a shuttle port, less running meens more missions.

After you take some missions you will see as many spawn over 3k from a town.

Coronet. Find the BH mission terminals, there's an informant between them (so close that you can check missions and talk to the informant without moving).

ok, i recently started back playing again, and have decided to give jedi a try. my question is if i have all the holo's and have started the mastering of them, when the revamp comes where does that leave me with the rest of the holo's? will i still be able to use them under the old system before build 10 comes into play? or at build 9 will i be S.O.L, an have to start all over and throw away the holo's and the money it took to get them?

thanks for any help, an im sure this question has been asked but i wasnt able to find it heh.

The only info we have been given is your professions will count as some sort of credit in the new system, and the only way to guarantee a Jedi when publish 10 hits is to do them all.

Good luck with that.
