Novice AS info here, copied from my original post:

Assault Armour Segment:
10 steel, 5 iron, 15 polymer, 5 scaley hide
(options) 4 individual layers , 1 segment enhancer

Assault Armour Core:
55 hide, 30 fiberplast, 30 metal, 25 gemstone, 1 Assault Armour Segment
(options) 1 core enhancer



Battle Armour Segment:
10 steel, 5 aluminium, 15 polymer, 5 wooly hide
(options) 4 individual layers , 1 segment enhancer

Battle Armour Core:
55 hide, 30 fiberplast, 30 metal, 25 gemstone, 1 Battle Armour Segment
(options) 1 core enhancer


Recon Armour Segment:
10 steel, 5 copper, 15 polymer, 5 leathery hide
(options) 4 individual layers , 1 segment enhancer

Recon Armour Core:
55 hide, 30 fiberplast, 30 metal, 25 gemstone, 1 Recon Armour Segment
(options) 1 core enhancer



Armour Appearance Schems (chests for examples)

Bone Chestplate
100 bone, 50 metal, 3 identical Battle Armour Cores, 1 fiberplast panel, 1 reinforced fiber panel,
(options) 1 Biological-Mechanical Cartridge, 1 Feathered Appearence Enhancement, 1 Armour Appearence Enhancement

Mabari Chestplate
290 hide, 150 metal, 7 identical Recon Armour Cores, 1 synth cloth, 1 reinforced fiber panel
(options) 1 Biological-Mechanical Cartridge, 1 Feathered Appearence Enhancement, 1 Armour Appearence Enhancement



Experimentation on segments and cores is two lines, both 50/50 oq/ut for condition and general protection.

Experimentation on the final combine is for condition and needs.... wait for it....

745 hides for 1 chest plate...
Armor is not going to be cheap post CU that's for sure.

Are those Basic, Standard, or Advanced cores? Basic, I assume.

Yea..just like the basic armor we craft now. All basic non-specific resouces. I Imagine the advanced stuff will get specific like Comp and Padded are now...

Question for all you seeing this on TC now...did they give Smiths the schematics for fiberplast panels, reinforced fiber panels and synth cloth?

As we start grinding armorsmith, post all armor schematics, paticuarly resource requirements here as you come across them.

I think we are lagging behind. There is already a master weaponsmith. On the plus side I think we all got some tailor skills. I'm gonna try to work my way up through the layers, but It's a safe bet that I won't get much farther than that before they open up the frogs.

WS is an easy grind, can do it in a few hours....
