Hey Armour Smiths!

I have heard that it is possible to craft armour with looted components that boosts your health when equiped. Do any of you know:

Where i can loot these components?

What kind of health bonus a full suit would give?

How much would you charge to craft a suit of this

Thx

This has been broke for the last three publishes, with no timetable to when it gets fixed. If you still want to go after the loot in hopes it does get fixed. Read the loot guide in the stickies above.

I have a question about this actually. Would adding the health bonus to the armour detract from the protection bonuses (ie. energy/kinetic)?

By broke he means they don't work. They don't add any health bonus at the moment.

And they do not affect resists. Just add to health (When working).

Got a question to add to this...

I realize that you guys have NO way of knowing this for sure...but maybe you can take a 'best guess' based on similar 'fixes' you've seen in the past.

If a piece of armor were craftedNOW with health enhancer loot in the segments...and...of course it is broken and doesn't actually give a health bonus NOW....

If and when they fix this in the future....will that piece of armor suddenly start giving a health bonus? Or....will the 'fix' most likely only apply to NEWLY crafted armor?

Opinion? Guess?

If a piece of armor were craftedNOW with health enhancer loot in the segments...and...of course it is broken and doesn't actually give a health bonus NOW....I would have to guess that it will not give any fix to pre-fix armor peices. The modifier completely drops off the armor segments, cores during the crafting process so I would bet that there is no way to track if a peice has actually had health mods built into it, as the numbers are not there.

Truthfully, there has been no answer to this. However, my best guess would be no, they will not add the health bonus if and when they fix health enhancers. This guess is based on posts that were written when this bug was first reported by armorsmiths to the CSRs. It has been reported to the Devs, however, they have yet to respond to this issue.

My suggestion would be to wait for an announcment in the forums or from publish notes, as to the health enhance fix.

Sadly, I guess it figures. I stil can't believe they haven't fixed the armor color thing....asking for fixes to something as complex as health bonuses, much less 'tracking' them on armor previously made with them....would be way beyond their ability I suppose.

Thanks for the answers!

I was wondering the same thing. I'm dying to get a nice set of Rebel Recon Armor made, but I don't see the point in doing it if I'm going to need to get another set once health enhancers are fixed.
