Thread: Just what percentage of Armorsmiths are the ones that enjoy the GDK Scale drop rate
Expecting a ridiculous number of one stars,

I'd actualy like to see the drop rate stay above one per kill, but perhaps limited to 2-3. This is considering the abysmal drop rate we're currently seeing, of 1 in 200+ kills...
I'm not saying it should be made common... but at least brought down to a point where the really rich players might consider actualy using it as armor, instead of just a dress uniform

Every game should have that sought after item. RIS and Mandalorian armors were some of SWG's highly sought after but rarely acquired items. I liked that. I also had RIS made before multiple drops. I'm against the multi-drops, especially on GDK scales. In fact, the only thing I would agree with multiple drops on are the woolamander harrowers since they're a static, timed spawn. Everything else is wild and random so the person who puts in the most effort hunting will be rewarded best, the harrowers are the exception.
Yeah, well why should the drop rate go back to 1 in 40-100 GDK's? Because you have pieces already? I mean there's rare and then there's why bother. This is why bother ridiculous novelty level, with the only class of people that can afford it are Armorsmiths with the 4.5 million per GDK scale alone (on Intrepid). Enjoy polishing your RIS, I guess is your plan.

There's hard then there's stupid ridiculous. I mean I have zero RIS, yet I personally own a +20 AS exp/+12 AS assembly/+6 AS repair suit, blah blah blah
I have a full set of RIS. I only have a +10 suit, and an extra +5 attachment. I fail to see your point. Getting a suit of RIS was easier (and cheaper) than putting together a +20 suit on my server.
BTW, for someone accusing another person of a one-star campaign, you appear to have a nice one going yourself.

So what will you use that RIS suit for? It's armour, not decoration. Even if it were the best armour ever, equivalent to Composite now after the combat revamp goes through, people still wouldn't wear it since it's so difficult to assemble.
Also, after the revamp folks will not be soloing GDK, peko peko or whatever unless they are Jedi. So you're still not going to see every Tom, **edit** or Harry in RIS.
Oh, and the game has another rare sought after armour now - there isn't a full suit of Mandalorian anywhere on any server. No need to have two useless decoration pieces.

It should go back to that because it's the drop rate I endured when getting my RIS pieces. Why should you have it easier? I don't see everyone driving a Bentley Arnage Red Label, should they lower the price because you don't want to work hard enough to get one? No. It's a status symbol. It says "I was one crazy mofo and I worked my ass off for this neato-armor".
Go look up epic in the dictionary. I doubt it means "Kinda hard to get".
