Thread: Straight Answers about IMP PSGs

Could we please get some straight answers about the Pub 9 IMP PSGs that were supposed to be Lightsaber Resistant? I sunk about 2 million creds into high quality resources and spent a nice chunk of time making all 6-7 components in ONE factory just so I would have the best (48%) PSGs for my PVPing friends and now it seems as if I have wasted all that time and money. Please... a simple straight "YES" the IMP PSGs are supposed to have Lightsaber Resists and "YES" we are working on the fix to the stat shift, or "NO" the IMP PSGs are not supposed to have Lightsaber Resists, and "YES" they are working as we intended them to. Is this such a hard thing to answer?

TH said in his very revect post that PSG's are not LS resistant. BUt I could of swore they said they said they were. Go to Dev Tracker... Look at the Post Patch 9 Feedback Part 2. Kick your cat, and break your keyboard... then move on.

I have about 500 imp PSG sitting in factory crates. I listed some on vendor, some had LS resist while others did not. Even after they were purchased they still had LS resist. BUGS, Pub 9 is something I would call Jedi Beta...haha

Not sure if it's known, but here are my testing results.

Post patch crafted Imperial PSG's showed LS resists in schematic, crate, and when taken out of crate. Testing with a Jedi showed the LS resists functioned, and were not simply a visual bug. When the owner logged out or after a server reboot, the LS resist was moved to vunerablity.

I'm making them, and will distribute them on special order only due to the nature of their current use. They're basically a throwaway item when it comes to LS resists - keep them in the crate, take one out when you need it, and scrap it after you log.

I really hope this get's fixed soon, I've got over 1100 on my vendor. People still buy them regularly for the stun howeverI have a lot of emails asking if the LS has been fixed.

It's an NPC given quest at the Imp outpost on Dantooine I believe.

Nothing too difficult mind you, just need to be an imperial to get it initially.

25-30K per Gen, damn I must be undercharging, I get the same stats

I pulled everything anyway, I bet the prices go up if the LS resists are put in properly

They sold well at higher prices too for those who knew how they were best used. I lowered them in the hopes of recouping my investment in resources so I could make more. The pace didnt increase and I just dont feel like pulling 1000-1100 of them to reprice in lagville.

It's a bug the dev's have yet to answer. PSG's were supposed to be LS resistant moving restraint to LS however since publish if they are resist at all it vanishes very easily. Shuttles, logging, modification (slicing), I even had one drop out from equiping and unequiping a few times. It's rather frustrating that to my knowledge NOTHING in game is LS resistant including my beloved nightsister elders.
