After almost a year as a Master, I have finally gotten up the courage to drop Architect completely.
And does it feel weird.
I had been thinking about it for while (more through wanting to give a new up and coming city architect a run than having him worry about competing continually with me), and late last week noticed that I was just about out of all my current stocks of components. So I quickly churned out a stack of medium houses, some more heavies, some mediums and some city structures and with a heavy heart, deleted the entire skill tree.
So no more on the eternal struggle for ore, no more worrying about where to store millions of units of resources and crates of components, no more fretting over loosing customers to undercutters.
Thanks to all for the assistance over the past 12 months and I hope that the devs give the profession a bit more loving (and a few more items to craft). And if WS gives me no joy I may even return.

Its strange - and I still have so much of it laying around in stacks (about 4m at last count). Can't bear to get rid of it just yet

You'll be back.
The ore is in your blood.
...and lungs. ...and pancreas.
Maybe you should go see a doctor while you're out.

The funny thing is that Im still digging the stuff up
.
Just building up a stockpile for my eventual return (well the plan is to unlock my fs, and roll my 2nd character as an architect/merchant).
