Thread: Furniture Container Issue (Not a bug I'm sure)

But still irritating. If only they were non-containers when in your inventory, and containers when in your house, that would be great. Oh well, we asked to for container furniture, and we got it. I just didn't consider that aspect until I tried to put a bookcase in a pack today.

I remember when they put 'em on TC that all but one of them were too big to fit in an empty inventory.

Couldn't even get 'em out of the crafting tool!

I just came across something I don't like about the new furniture containers (such as chests, bookshelves, etc). When they are in your inventory, they count as containers too. The problem with that is you can't put them in a backpack anymore. It's not a huge issue, but I don't like it. I'd occasionally have a reason to put them in a pack (such as for multi-item sales to a single person) but now i can't.

Ya I'm sure its not a bug. Since the containers hold 50 items they would count as 51 items in size. And backpacks only hold 50 items. Same reason you can't put a backpack inside of a backpack.

Are they ever going to make them "set name" like bags? I would use toolchests like that to hold resources if I could label them!

They havent' said anything about it so I wouldn't expect it to happen.
