How'd you do it? Just persistant crafting? And what did you craft?

Also, bout how long did it take you? And is there any "Make last" type thing to save on the clicks?

basically grind away to get that xp. find some friends, use the bazaar to fully utilize all that xp (since people have to use/eat your stuff to give you more xp).

unfortunately there is no "make last item" command.REALLY wish there was. my advice is get really comfy, get a nice thick gelpad for your wrist, a brace and an ice pack... after all that clicking youre gonna need em

I make a variety of items to get General Crafting XP.

But to really grind out the points, I usually make one of two items.

Bofa Treats, which give 28 GCXP, plus a little more if someone eats them. They require 11 units of any grain.

Heavy Axes, which give 89 GCXP, plus more if used. They take 20 Wood, 10 Metal, and 6 Steel.

In order to get these resources, you'll need to get up to Engineering III so you can make some harvesters (Mineral for Metals/Oreand Micro Flora for Grain/Wood).

I don't know of any way to save clicks on crafting, except to turn off Crafting Confirmations in the Options Screen (CTRL+O).

My little Trick was to just do power ups. Two General Crafting Tools, and spending alot of click time making Weapon powerups(40exp a pop, and only cost 6metal 4chemical). Actually got Novice Architect in literally 24 hours from when Bria First came up. Also had two friends do the same to make Weaponsmith and Tailor almost as fast as I did. Anyways, that's just my tidbits from the Galaxy Far far away....Bria

How do you guys pay for those huge maintainance fees I hear about for harvesters?

Harvester Costs are not TOO bad. I play on Naboo, and can run deliv missions back and forth between Kad and Moena, making about 3k for a full round trip. Seems harvester costs are about 720 credits for a full day. Wind harvesters are a little more, but still not bad. So really, couple hours a day and you have enough for a few days of Harvester cost. Just what I do, others prolly have better ways I'm sure.

I don't even bother with wind harvesters any more - the Radioactives that you can sample for can also be used for power.

harvestor maintence??????

all you do is load 1 power....they will run as long as you have 1 power in when you turn them on...

nobody really apys maintence....by the time they degrade you have gotten 1000s of ore out of them...just let them burn...

If a harvester is damaged, doesn't that affect sample rates?

Besides, delivery mission will work fine. I have 7 units now and I log on for a bit, run deliveries, then pay maintainence before work. No problems.

As far as that 33k... *sigh*

Rifle Scopes are nice. 17 seconds to place in hopper, so two Crafting Tools will be all you need. 10 units of resource for 40xp. That's pretty much twice as good of a ratio than anything else available to an artisan.

Stocks: 40 CXP per

1000/40 = 25

If you make 25 stocks per hour you're logged in, that's 1k per hour (can go higher, of course, I got 6k in one hour when I had all my resources)

I find that if you break it down into a simple equation, it's a lot easier to do

So just do 33000/40 and aim for whatever number u come up with

I do believe the 33k general crafting is a bit high but it must have been raised when they upped the structural requirements in the architect tree. It was way to easy to master architect when I was doing it in beta. Think they went a bit overboard on the novice though.

As far as power for harvesters go, well I am keeping mine fully powered but I do know they will stay running after the power runs out, I had one run to nearly 200 power in the negative, I imagine folks just putting one in are getting huge negatives.

I figure they will fix it eventually.

And the best powerup to grind, if you are just grinding and burning. The melee powerup, it is on the first page so you don't even need to scroll down, 40 gc exp for 10 resources.

Is what I have been doing but... grind grind grind is such a bore bore bore. --sigh--
Other than that I am having a great time.

Don't be too impressed with folks that got architect fast... I imagine more than a couple of them used the faction point feature and traded in faction for general crafting exp.

It is in case you all don't know, a 1 for 1 trade, faction for GC exp.

I know this for a fact because I traded 180 faction points for 180 general crafting exp, as you may note I don't have much faction to trade.
