Thread: Resource Density
Ok I'm new to gathering resources so if this has been explained already I'm sorry for the repeat..and yes I looked to see if it had...SO, I run around with my little survey tool and find a 85% spot to sample..well I sample and it says the Resource Density is too low in this area....so I run around some more and find a different spot..and low and behold same problem..could someone please explain this to me?
Thanks,
Sintel

Oh and if I drop harvesters on that spot will they be able to get resources?
Thanks,

Different Types and Classes of resources cycle in and out of the galaxy. When this change is occuring the newer resources cycling in can't be sampled right away I've found. It usually takes several hours from when they first appear to when you can start sampling.
So the error you're getting is by some design. Not sure why it's like this. Oh and a 85% density is a good spot.
This is a bug it takes like 12 hours after a spawn before you can sample it by hand. If you place a harvester down it will work right after they spawn.

This seems to always happen when the resource your sampling is less than 24 hours old. Think of it like that particular resource your sampling is slowly being filled into the planet. That's why you get that resource density is low message.
