Howdy,

So I can craft stations in the mid 90's. But my question are those three little optional spots, what do they do? Are they important?

They are necessary for a few rarely made items, Wookie bowcaster among them.

they are NOT worthless. They use the same 3 optional components that all other devices use, droid storage module, Microcontrol Processor, and the other thing that the master artisan can make. If you use them it does great things to help lessen your failure rate.

IGNPC: We often hear the loudest cries from a relative minority. Still, it seems odd that all the comments sent our way have been negative.

Haden Blackman: Yeah, all the guys who are happy with everything are playing the game. They aren't spending their time sending you guys letters or posting on the forums.

All in all, not a particularly useful option. It only worked briefly in Beta. No word from the Devs if it will be fixed now, or made useful enough to bother with.

I spent the time and money running down all the extra crap to add the optional stuff. It does exactly JACK.

I seen the input hopper the first time I used the new station and it has since permenently disappeared. It has no noticeable effect on failures above a normal (heavily experimented to ~90% Efficiency) personalcrafting station.

There is no difference as of yet. The electronics are suppose to allow you to build items you have schematic for but not the skill to use, doesn't work.

The more advanced items is the personal crafting station, which means any crafting station that is not in the town.

The hopper as everyone knows does not work.

I still build my craft station for PA and personal use with the additives just in case someday it will make a difference.

Here's hoping, Meparch

Oh, I see. Maybe in later game stages we'll be able to see if a station is equiped with them.

The optional components use to open up an input hopper option on crafting stations. You could store resources in the hopper, then use themwhile craft (instead of picking resources from your inventory).

Read the in-dev notes, and be happy!

Yeah, I read that they have "fixed" the hopper. I haven't confirmed that from the TC yet though.
