Congrats on making the Friday Feature Pawlin...at least Architect got some exposure out of the deal ![]()

The player reaction is amusing. Like the addition to my sig? ![]()
I know most of them are just whining at SOE for not posting any new info rather than bashing our FAQ but still...
As I posted there, you've did a great job Pawlin. Their choice of that for a FF in an environment where the rules are changing for professions every 2 to 3 weeks has created this environment, IMO. People don't know what goals to reach for, and everytime they reach one it's ripped out from under them.
The information posted there, however, was outstanding. I only wish it had been relevant to the current climate for a FF. For that, I certainly can only point to the Community Representatives.

Any harsh words by me in the FF post are in no way directed at you.
I don't think the "worst FF ever" should be taken personallyby you, either. ![]()
It's not that the FAQ is bad or anything, it's that the Friday Feature of featuring an FAQ sticky on profession boards seems like...well...an afterthought by the Devs.
I remember when Friday Features covered upcoming cool stuff.
Now they look for a profession's sticky to fill in the time, before next week rolls around.
Again, it's not that the FAQ isn't great - it is, and I've used it extensively, and I really appreciate all the work put into it. It's that a FF should be more, something upcoming, something new.
Ya I know. Thanks for saying so though.
Personally I'd rather get some new info from SOE than a lazy copy/paste job.

The FAQ helped me make nice harvesters and super awesome Crafting Stations ![]()
If only I'd read it more thoroughly before making my first one...I left out the optional power conditioner in the micro sensor suites. D'oh! It was okay, still ended up with a +37 something or other anyways, which is better than a droid at least, without having to call/store that thing all the time when it falls through my house's floor. ![]()
