Thread: How do the factories work?

When I examine the factories, it says "Time to create object", it's like 300 seconds, or whatever, but how does the factory get this amount of time? It takes around 300 seconds to make an enhancement pack in a factory, but 85 seconds in my crafting tool.

There's a formula that the factories use that concerns these three factors in determining the speed of the per unit production...


schematic complexity (experimenting increases complexity, thus incresases production time)


number of units of resources (no way to drop this number)


type of factory (structure factories are the fastest and I believe equipment factories are the slowest)


I don't remember the exact formula off the top of my head, but I remember plugging the numbers into a calculator that was on SWGcrafters and it was accurate every time.
