Thread: What skills are needed for Architect?
There are some items that require master artisan parts like torches, data terminals or power cores. But you can probably buy those items from someone else who isa master artisan.
If you want to make high quality crafting stations then you'll probably need to go master artisan. Crafting station experimentation is from artisan experimentation and you also need to highly experiment all the subcomponents.
Don't forget these important skills:
Patience, endless patience. The ability to make a zillion (insert grind item of your choice)without going crazy is not given to everyone. I find that the impact of my head on the desk when I fall asleep from the boredom usually wakes me up ![]()
To be able to laugh in the face of adversity. Critical failure on the last 'assemble' screen of a PA. Is that a suitable subject for 'comedy' or is it simply rather tasteless? If you can laugh at that should you beenvied or see a shrink?
On the other hand things could be worse, you might have been a Droid engineer, LOL.
Another more useful skill:
1) desire to be slave labor selling wares at prices below what the resources would sell for
2) Endless bartering to lowball your price
3) Auctions where the lowest contractor bid wins. Yes while Weaponsmiths get to bid a product to get the best price. Architects get to bid to make a product for the lowest price.
Thanks guys sounds like an interesting profession. Only picked it to build houses for guild members. By the way the guild is Freedom Underground on Sunrunner, Moenia, Naboo. Send me an in game tell or email if you want to know more we are currently looking for an armorsmith, a merchant, and anyone else that is interested.

depends upon your goals. If you are a holo-arch then you just wanna get to master as fast as possible. In which case you just need to make statues and fountains and you'll shoot up the tree faster than a bothan with the runs.
If you are looking to make a career of it, then you need to start developing working relationships with customers and other archs. You might want to find an arch to apprentice to, trading grunt work for training and resources. When you have decent experiment points and skills start making schematics for mass use items like mining modules and storage modules. Start stockpiling resources and components. Find suppliers to keep you in a steady flow of resources, especially ore.
Then you need to begin to build your customer base, repeat customers or customers who really like the service you give them are more likely to come back (regardless of prices) and bring their friends with.
