ONE OF THE REASONS I MASTER ARCHITECT WAS FOR THE FREEDOM IT GAVE ME WHENEVER I WAS DECORATING, YET TIME AND TIME AGAIN MY VISION IS BEING BROUGHT TO A SCREECHING HALT BY THE RELATIVELY SMALL NUMBER OF ITEMS I CAN PLACE IN A HOUSE. DOES ANYBODY FEEL THAT A MASTER ARCHITECT SHOULD BE GIVEN A BONUS FOR BUILDING ITEM CAPACITY?

Lol @ the above post

1x Large house takes 6 lots = 250 items

3x Small house takes 6 lots = 450 Items

1x PA Hall takes 9 lots = 250 items

Not everyone can use a guild hall or a large house if they are crafters. I know i cant most my lots are for factories/harvesters with my 2 characters.

And calling someone an idiot is childish- then again you are 14 and i guess the shoe fits.................

this in response to jaakaal or whatever that fool is called. 250 items is not enough for decorating a guildhall in my opinion. i try to make each room look like an actual lived in space. perhaps you lack the imagination to use the craftable items to create unique looking enviornments.

I agree that the item limits are low

I agree that calling someone fool and/or such names is childish at a discussion platform like this one.

But I also agree that even if doubled, the item limits wont be enough.

Might want to have you caps lock key looked at. it seems to be stuck

Anyway... I agree. After decorating the main floor and basement rooms in my Naboo Medium, I ran up against the item limit and was forced to leave the entire second floor bare. Perhaps removing serialization from non-decaying furniture could help alleviate the database problem and allow a higher limit on houses?

I don't own any furniture myself and as a miner and crafter, I use wherever space I have for storage. You'd have GREAT difficulty trying to interior decorate my house....lol

But I can say,the greater percentage ofhouses that I've seen are EMPTY or nearly empty.I would tend to think you can easily interior decorate a house that has space for 150 items. But, the odds are there are a few Travel Packs in that near empty houses that are FULL.

Other than that, it's all about caps, inventory limits, balancing and finding a HAPPY medium. You'd think, having aninventory that can hold59 + 50 items, a house 150 items, a bank 100 items and your droid(s) 10would besufficent space (not including vendors and factories). Also, Ibelieve whatever cap is set - it will be filled and not be enough.

I definitely agree that the item counts are too low. I had a job to do with a huge amount of plants and torches recently and I quickly filled the 150 item house with about half of it still to go. I was disappointed that I couldn't do anything else and make the house look so much better.

I think certain items that have no value except decorative purposes shouldn't count like plants for example but things like weapons and resources should. I think it would solve a lot of these issues

Although I fully agree the higher limits would be nice to have, the devs have said before that part of the reason there is an item count is to limit the database size for all the various objects. There could be a solution to this but as they are fully involved with Jedi Quests now, combat revamp, gcw revamp and finally JTL that they probly wont be able to do anything fora while.
