I have been grinding our arch so I can set up shop in my city and I have been buying ore while mining metal and gemstone...

but I can't seem to find ore.....

now the answer maybe right in my face.....

but I have not seen an option for me to be able to find it...

do you need to have more than survey 1 to see it...

or is there somthing missing

Ore comes in low concentrations that increase very slowly, so it's entirely possible that with only survey 1 you're not finding it. It's out there, though.

If it's not showing up on your survey tool, it's not on the planet you're on.

You'll either need to go to another planet or wait a few days for a resource shift.

It should be able to see it using the mineral survey tool (same one you use to find steel, etc). There are usually different types listed like Carbonite, Intrusive, Extrusive.

Can't explain why you don't see unless the planet you're currently on doesn't have any ore spawned. However, I've never seen that personally.

Oh, and the Survey levels only affect the distance radius you can survey - doesn't have any bearing on 'what' you can survey.

I have 1 million units for sale for 2cpu on my vendor in the mall of mos tyrenia. Check your mineral survey tool again. On Tatooine there has been lots of ore lately, and some of the best percentages I have seen. Email me in game and I will email you some waypoints for ore.

I have been all over tat looking for ore and sampling but was not finding any ore what so ever...

maybe there will be a shift

I believe I have a few hundred k of power left for 1.5 - 2 cpu. You just missed a nice 60% ore vein around mos Tyrenia. I believe there are 2 types close to Mos Tyrenia over 40% right now. Im going to a movie with the wife tonight, so I won't be in game till late, if at all. I should be in tomorrow though.
