Thread: How do you access the storage hopper on personal crafting stations?

The hopper is accessed via the crafting tool. So you have to have the right tool to access the stations hopper. I'm away from game, but if I recall right .. If you click on the tool and then go to the 1st option and hold, it will pop up another option that is the hopper.

Fairly straightforward but it might be missed if you aren't looking for it.


Normally when you click on the food/chem tool (for example) in your inventory, the radial menu top item has a "start crafting" choice (or whatever the text is). If you are standing next to a private food/chem station in a structure that you have admin access to (e.g., your house), there is another option up there to "access input hopper" (or whatever the text is). So you can open up the input hopper and dump some resources in there to use for crafting.


Please note - if you drop 3 stacks of stuff in that input hopper that counts against your house total item count just as if you dropped them in a backpack hanging on the wall.
