You get somebody that further de-values an architects goods....I mean at 90k for a freakin' Heavy you are in the black after a single day on a decent spawn of quality resources. A single freakin day....I mean you too can run a profitable business on bloodfin for a minimal investment that will put you in the black by the end of tomorrow.

You're confusing me.. are you mad about his prices being low and that's sarcasm?
I know I'm not anywhere near in the black after a 90k sale; i've sold close to 200k since I returned to the game & started rebuilding, and that leaves me still about 1.9million in the hole.

not really how many units of resources does a heavy mineral take and what cpu is that? as a shipwright i have to mine my own resources and sell stuff for 1-1.5 cpu to sell anything at all and im still about 21 mil in the hole after that grind

I am saying that it is a shame, that somebody devalues our items by selling it for that cheap. If I was to buy a harvester from this guy, I can make the cost of the harvester by planting on a decent spawn somewhere in a single day. It makes me sick to see our products being cheap sold like that. A heavy harvester is worth WAY more than 90k. But you have people who sell it that cheap, and then to rub it in, a guy posts to that thread saying "This is just what bloodfin needs". As if to say harvesters should only cost that much...It is just a shame....

Using the subject of "Fair priced Architect Vendor" for his ad is what I would take issue with. As opposed to the existing 'unfair' architect vendors? Thats what he's implying.
Note that he's selling heavies for 90k but his medium minerals are 50k. Yet medium minerals have the lowest resource requirements. Puzzling.
He may burn out soon if he's drastically under market. He said he's been at it for a month and buys some resources and mines others. How much stock does the guy have?
THe cost of our deeds is relative to the cost of the raw materials. On my server grind quality stuff is 1-2 cpu so 90k on a heavy isn't a bad profit. But if grind material is 3 cpu then 90k for BER13 doesn't quite justify the effort, IMO.

grind resources run about 1.5 to 2 cpu on Radiant and I for one, say that the work involved in making heavy harvestors is worth every penny of 3.5 cpu so 100k, which seems to be the norm here, is the bottom price unless someone wants to buy a couple hundred, even then its hard to trim the cost that much.
Seems odd that he is charging 50k for the BER10's though.... thats got to be like 10-12 cpu... on Radiant we are only getting 20-25k for those.
/shrug
Anyways, the only thing really that I would take offense to is his use of the word "Fair" because, as others have said, it sounds like he is saying everyone else is a rip-off
