Not having started the game since Beta, over my time in game, I've heard stories about such and such great resource quite a few number of times. Lately I've started collecting some of the resources, as sort of a tie to crafting back then, even if that resource has since been superceded. I'm I just weird or does anyone else do this?

yup, i have a stash of uber avain that went for 250cpu while in spawn. i collect little bits whenever i find some. along with 1000 CON 990 OQ copper... yeah i know where your comming from

Yeah, Starsider has stacks of 250 units of 1000 OQ Dolovite iron floating around. They occasionally resurface on the bazaar but I believe that it's probably just the same stacks of the stuff and no one wants to use them but try to sell them for a progressively higher amount to the next buyer.

I don't have any uber great resources, but I have stashed away the first duralloy steel I ever harvested back when they added experimentation to harvesters.

Somehow I never used it up back then and now always use up other steel first.
