Thread: Still make money on houses?

I stated my architect character again. I have not played architect for about a year now. When I left, my main selling item was medium houses for 60k.
Is it still possible to sell these houses?
I know many people say the architect economy is horrible, however, they also said that last year, when my business was very successful.

I sell them regularly, but usually to new and growing cities. They are not a best seller.

I have one city and housing vendor and 3 harvester/factory/crafting station vendors

I cannot keep my vendor stocked with the style of houses for the planet I am on as of the last three weeks. Almost everything I put up sells in a matter of days, in some cases, a matter of hours.
I am /almost/ tempted to raise my prices, and have on a few items. (While others I've dropped of course.)
But then, I've been in the same location, doing the same business, for nearly a year. A lot are repeat customers that know I keep things stocked (or try to), a few resellers that I have deals with, and these last two weeks, evenbefore my ad on the trade forums, a lot of new customers. That in itself surprised me.
I'm also not near a captial city, on tatooine, 2k away from the Mos Entha spaceport.
As long as your consistent and can keep a good selection of stock, houses do sell.
