Hi,
I've been working on getting some higher end crafting stations constructed, but I seem to be topping out in the low 30s. I'm using the best resources I have, though I'm soft in the chemicals department (I think my OQ is topped at 805 there).
2 questions---what does the additional 10 or so points on the Station really mean? And, is there a "secret" to getting to 40+ points on these? I'm crafting my own components, and I did see a dramatic change when I got my Control units to 4 (from 2). I generally try to max out Effectiveness, and spend any left over points on durability. Perhaps this approach isn't correct.
Thanks!

Just 2 things, max out on Effectiveness, and experiment on ALL (sub-)components. So you will have to use HQ resources for the GP Modules and other components that go into the Micro Sensor Suite as well.

Hard to say. A number of people have done testing and not seen much of any noticable difference between the best and worst stations. But maybe it effects crafting in a way we aren't testing for. SOE has said that it "influences" experimentation results.

Well you're getting to 30's and sounds like you're probably doing the right things as far as using all the optional parts and experimenting them all as high as possible. So I don't think you're missing a trick or something. I think it may just be the quality of your materials. You said your chemical is in the 800's which is pretty low for stations. THe difference between an 800 polymer and a 990 polymer would make about 2-4 full points in your final crafting station rating. You'll want to try and get all your materials in the 950-1000 range. And for the Micro sensor suite you need both high OQ and high Conductivity which can be hard to get.

I've noticed something about architects I know only being able to get low 30's on their stations, even though they experiment all their sub components to high 90's. The droid storage units. I gave a couple of the archs I know a bunch of the ones I use. They had much better results. My point is, make sure you go to a Droid Engineer you trust. Some may say their storage compartments are 99%, but theres no way to really tell.

Check your Droid Storage Compartments, I was having the same problem, I had to find a DE that I trusted to make me the 98%, 97% DSC.. and when I got them, I got my stations up to 43.22. So .. dont forgot every part matters
