I was just wondering if there has ever been an architect revamp and if there hasn't been when there will be one or if the Devs are planning one anytime soon. Thanks.

Supposedly all of the noncombat professions will be getting a revamp after the Combat Upgrade. We'll see.......

Lol. Yeah when hell freezes over. Well that would be cool if it is after the combat upgrade. Isn't that still like 3 months from now though?

every single person thinks that their profession is broken.
Architect is working quite well. Expect the devs to look at it in the future "Crafting Revamp"

Are you serious that there is going to be a crafting revamp? That would be awesome!

Architect is one of the crafting profession mostly overlooked. I believe that is why most of us want a revamp. Though architect is working well with only minor bugs we would like new content, able to color our furniture, new structure, crate OMU's, some help making sales ( structures not burning down kill us ), add decay on structures ( ones that are moved often, harvesters) few other ideas and wants i have read over time.
WS- new weapons ( a few times now)
AS - new armor ( will be able to craft factional armor now)
Chef- new food ( mandolian wine sp?)
Artisans- speeders, few other items
DE- had an entire revamp new droid components/options
Merchant was fixed up a little ( i like the new merchant btw)
SW- new in itself
Architect- paintings from bestine, schematics we have to hunt for or buy at inflated cost. I dont think we got much more than that.
*edit* they have fixed a few of our bugs - didnt want to sound ungreatful - factories work wonderful now YAHOOO!!!*edit*
But we did get structures wont go poof ( money taken out of your bank), No energy harvester power-ups ( which we should have been allowed to make).
As you can see we are the lowman on the totem pole. Though without an architect none of those professions above would even be active atm. They all be out digging up resources with their hands or using BER 4 artisan harvesters.
I think it is time architects get some loving- we build this game from the ground up.

Yeah that is what I am thinking. Our proffession is working quite well but some of the options are limited. It would be cool to be able to color items and maybe sell kits to let people color their own stuff. Soon hopefully.

Who said architect is broken? We have some issues that need fixed and they have not been. Our structure/furniture condition system has been borked from day one, Fusion experimentation is borked, and OMUs don't crate. Also, we have little/no new content(depending on point of view). A revamp is probably not needed, but fixing a couple of simple issues will go a long way.
Noncombat revamp and smuggler revamp is to come after Combat Upgrade if I remember the comments of the red names correctly.
(we need to get rid of experimentation bars that do nothing and shuffle a few other things around but as far as I can tell, no one is looking into our stuff. Combat is #1 since day 1.)
Thank the maker for fixing factories and thanks, but no thanks for the structure maintenance change.
