Sorry if this has been asked before, and I couldn't find anything relating to it in the FAQ:
I have a Mon Cal Master Architect. Currently I only have +11 in Structure Assembly tapes, but combined with his racial modifier this gives me +121. If I fork out and buy an extra +14 in tapes, is +135 actually used in the assembly or is it capped at +125?
I was just reading the Artisan forums about +140 Artisan Experimentation for Humans and it got me wondering. I had always assumed +125 was the cap, but it seems that +25 is the cap above the skill and racial total. Anyone enlighten me please?

If you fail on an assembly as an architect, you won't loose any resources.

I don't know what we cap on for structure assembly. I'm a Mon Calamari but I don't have enough attachments to find out, I'm at 123 structure assembly right now.
I can tell you that from my recent experimentation that the structure assembly points directly impact the quality of your experimentation. So with more structure assembly points you'll get more frequent Great/Amazing successes and less frequent poor success during experimentation.

From everything I have read, racial bonuses are not included in the SEA +25 limit on skill mods, so you could have +135 on the assembly.
