I'm not an architect, so could seomone please let me know this:

Why would I buy a medium house over a small house?

According to SWGArchitect.com, they both take up 2 lots. According to the updates and messages on here by the Dev's, a house's inventory capacity is presently 75 items per lot (if I read that correctly).

That means that both medium and small houses have the same inventory capacity of 150 items, correct?

So, what would be the purpose of the medium house at all?

Please let me know your thoughts. I'd really like to know if there's anything I'm missing or misread.

Thanks

Multiple reasons:

1) Devs posted that they are not done and they will be setting it later for Mediums to hold more than smalls

2) Medium Houses look a lot better (at least on Naboo and Tattooine)

3) Everyone has a small house. Don't you want to be different?

4) Why not? Credits are becoming worthless to a lot of players already (some have 10+million saved up).

Thanks,

Response:

1) okay, have they stated that mediums will also take up more lots then?...because how will they implement that if you are already at your max when they decide to do that? (suppose you already have a medium house and 8 lots full of harvesters, in other words).... Any ideas?

2) I live on Talus, so Generic is what I'm stuck with, I guess....so I don't care about looks....(besides, it's in a friggin' swamp)

3) I wouldn't mind having a medium when others have a small, but not if it makes no sense to do so

4) I'm not one of those players....credits still count to me....I need them to gamble...heh

If you just use your house as a storage closet then there is no reason for you to buy a medium. If, however, you are like other people who want to furnish and personalize their house then a medium makes a lot more sense. It has more rooms, more space, and more options for decorating, entertaining, and role-playing.

Some people will only ever use their houses as a storage warehouse - those people will do fine with smalls.

Sounds to me like you have never seen the inside of a medium to compare the two - you may want to check out some public buildings.
