Thread: Can I put Wall Modules into a factory crate I crank out myself?
So I dont have the extra expense of having to run a factory all the time, could I just buy or make a few factory crates for wall modules and a few other modules required for HEAVY HARVESTERS, then put ones i crank out by hand into the factory crates?????
And do I REALLY NEED a personal crafting station so the heavy harvesters who up on schematics? If so do I REALLY NEED a house to put the personal crafting station into? Or could I get a droid with a personal crafting station? I think that would be better.
This factory crate stuff is B.S.!! I went for armorsmith originally, and only went architect so I can mine better/faster. Armorsmiths require some sort of frigging cloth in a FACTORY CRATE.
You know factories should be there to relieve people of the grind, not be a stupid requirement, is there some magical properties FACTORY CRATES have that makes FACTORIES a necessity? They're FRIGGING BOXES! That does it im starting another thread.
Alrighty... I guess I will.
You know those factory crates of cloth that you didn't like?
Yeah those ones...
We architects need em too. (ducks for cover)
They are used in some of the Master Architect Furniture items.
Thought ya might want to know... You might try chef... I don't think they use the cloth. (hehehe)

Not to mention that if he really wants to mine "better/faster" all the heavy harvesters require multiple components from factory crates.
*giggles*
I have to use a house.
But yes, you could get a crafting station droid and work like that i think.
The private crafting stations unlock high level schematics that cant be used with a public crafting station, i dont know if a droid station will do that.
As for what good is a factory crate... well since they lowered the volume on these things... the obvious answer is storage space.
Make a factory run of a few hundred structure modules and you will know what im talking about.
I thought this was a funny thread since it was started by the guy that didn't think "Architects understand their profit margin to well or are greedy".
Yes you can use a droid if it has a Structure/Furniture module in it. You still need a camp, house or city to call it though.
No, you don't actually NEED a factory. It's only if you want to be able to build the higher level stuff.
Now you get to learn about the hidden costs known as "Manufacturing Schematics" too. You have to waste a whole set of resources just to make the design plans for your factory. Then, since the schematic is VERY specific, you have to make a new one everytime you do a run since that type of copper doesn't exist anymore.
