I am trying to build a fusion generator. As you all know, I need Mfg. Mechanisms from a factory crate. All well and good. However, when I go to build one, it needs a Generator Turbine. I can't get the factory to use either a single turbine that i have manually placed in the hopper, or a crate of turbines. I keep getting email saying the factory ran out of the ingrediant Generator Turbine. What am I doing wrong?

And my schematic is set to make only 3 turbines, since I'm just experimenting with the factory right now.

Here's the deal...as of right now, Structure factories will not pull items out of factory crates. So, you need to manually unload the items from the crate and load those single items into the ingredient hopper in the factory. Then you should be able to make your Mechs.

I haven't had problems making Manufacturing mechanisms with cratedturbines (I dont remember anymore but the last time I made them, Im sure I didn't un-crate them... You don't forget un-crating 30 turbines).

Regardless wether you're using crated turbines or not, all turbines mustCOME from the same crate and have the same serial number. So when you start producing, you have to use the turbines from the same crates asyou used when making the schematic.

Don't see why it wouldn't work otherwise... Might want to try again or call a CSR.

Same as Archangel, no problems last time I made any. You just have to make sure you have factory made generators and make the schematic using a generator from one of the crates made in the factory.
