About 2 weeks ago, I was able to make medium BER10 Chem and Gas extractors with 800-900ish resources.
Yesterday, I used UT 965 SR 989 HR 972 Steel for metal, UT946 SR 982 HR 995 Ore, UT 852 SR 387 Chemical and a Fluidic Drilling Pump Unit with ER 4 to make a medium Chem. After I spent all my experimental points(all great success), the final result.....maxed at 70% only!?And theBER is 9.
Additional info,my tool is14.82 and the station is over 43, crafting inside a research spec city.
What's wrong? is it a bug or recent nerf?

Your chemical diluted the whole mix. Use Lube Oil or Petro Fuel (which don't have HR/SR/UT) - they don't get averaged in and you get all the benifits from your steel/metal/ore.
Also, when you say that your Fluidic Drilling Pump was rate=4, do you know how high you experimented it too? It appears that that "rate=4" is a truncated display, and that there is a difference between 4.00001 and 4.99999 (or whatever). Best advice is to experiment ALL "mining components" (e.g., Ore Mining Unit, Fluidic Drilling Pump, etc) as high as you can go - preferably into the 90s.

You could also use a good fiberplast like the correlian variety now. It has 800-900ish scores.

But unless the fiberplast or polymer *beats* the steel/metal, you are diluting it. So *if* you need to *raise* the score of your mix, and you can find chems that do that (rare), then you are spinning your wheels. Just use lube oil and make your life simpler.
