Thread: Cant make a fusion generator

Im a Master Artisan, soon to be Master Droid Engineer, saving 63xp for Shipwright and have FINALLY finished the Installation and Construction trees of Architect. Id like to make a fusion generator but dont see the schematic in my list of ones available. I went to a public furniture and structure crafting station and got more schematics, but still not the fusion generator. Am I doing something wrong? Do I need a different crafting tool? Is this a bug that plagues me? Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

go to a private one.


And another piece of advice- master architect. Expansion wont come out for many many moons, why not take the time and build furniture, factories, homes, and harvesters.


And DE is a slow andpainful profession Good luck.

The way crafting (*any* crafting) works is like this (although I dont' recall the specific numbers);


Crafting tool only - you can craft stuff up to complexity X - no experimentation, no manufacturing schematics


Crafting tool and matching *public* station - you can craft stuff up to complexity Y - plus do experimentation and produce manufacturing schematics


Crafting tool and matching *private* station - you can craft anything, regardless of complexity, plus do experimentation and produce manufacturing schematics



If you open your Datapad (cntl-D) and look at the "Schematics" tab, you will see ****AL**** of the schematics that you have the skill to use - regardless of tool / station. If you look closely at them (for example, the fusion generator), you will see its complexity and if it has specific tool/station requirements.


You can also look at www.swgcraft.com under their schematics section. It says this about the Fusion Generator schematic:


Complexity 35 - Requires Specialized Crafting Tool and Private Crafting Station



So, you need to be using a Structure/Furniture *tool* standing beside a *private* structure/furniture station.


A "private" station is any that has been player built and placed inside a player structure (house, PA Hall, Med Center, etc).

ah yes one more piece of info, i do not believe you can make BER 14 fusions without master unless you have +20/+20 skill tapes. You need to hit 90%+ on the OMU, and for final assembly i dont think you will get much.


I would just master architect and go at it and make up a lot of stuff, then you can drop it later for expansion professions and still have a lot of architect items for sale


Thats what im doing as we speak. Going to make 800-1000 droids ( gonna take 23 days just for the parts i need to make chassis ) and 2000-3000 harvesters and maybe 500 homes.


Then decide what i want to drop then.


They may actually give us more skill points *cross fingers* but i doubt it lol.

I'm very sure that you can make BER 14 fusions without Master Arch/tapes. Have to add that Iwas Mon Cal when I made that, so I did have a +10 assembly. Furniture 4 and construction4 is sufficient, but you need good duralloy steel (or Kammris iron?)in OMUs and final combine; also, craftin a Research Center.But you'll get no bonus storage.


Still haven't gotten a M Arch badge (saw no reason since I can make max bers and never plan to build guild halls) but I have a 14ber fusion schematic + deeds. Think I'm 4/4/4/2


But to add, when I tried to make the ber 14 with furniture 2 and construction 4,I failed miserably several times, thenI gave up wasting good resources and grinded furniture 4.
