how have the prices been lately on your servers for heavys? have they been steadly declining? on eclipse 130k or so was good then down to 120k and then to 110k and now for stupid ass reason there to 100k. we have these stupid idiots trying to undercut everyone else by lowering the prices.

this happening on all servers? im guessing so.

yes on intrepid i seen one sell heavies for 90k. i though 120k long ago was a good price now 90k. I will never sell that low, i care less what other architects sell them for.

90-100k is a joke.

But many of those people have 100-150 harvesters down and it doesnt cost them much to make from what they say. THough its the value and time spent making them that you should sell not because you can pull up 5-10 million units of ore a week.

oh well every profession is changing like that- i have seen real good armor that use to go for 400-800k now around 200-300k. Same for weapons.

Only thing i have seen going up in price are chef products and buffs- all limited use items lol

mediums for 20k, and ALL factories for 25k

now thats nuts

3 walls on most mediums at 2cpu on ore and grind metal = 6k per wall*3= 18k alone on walls.

man some people are desperate to make money- but what they dont know is that they will make twice as much if they dont undersell the rest of us, but actually have a complete and stocked vendor

god 20k per i would buy 100 and resell them and make 15-20k profit off of those- the profit they could be making.

Heavies are down to 85k on Kettemoor.

Lowest I recall seeing advertised for mediums is 35k though.

Why is 110k an ok price while lower prices like 90k or 100k are the sign of undercutting idiots and children?

What if someone else is charging 180k for heavies, do you think they'd be fair to call your price of 110k the work of an idiot? Certainly not.

Everyone is either an undercutter or a gouger in the eyes of someone else.

Just because someones price is lower than someone else doesn't make them an idiot.

I think a good price on harvesters run around 130k for heavies, 40k for mediums, and 3k for personal ( all highest BER).

Fusions for 110-115k

Highest ive seen was 180k for heavies, 60k for mediums, and 160k for fusions.

Lowest ive seen was 90k for heavies 30k for mediums, and 80k for fusions.

the difference between highest and lowest is 100% markup/markdown.

lowest ive seen for housesis- smalls go for 5k, mediums for 35k, and large for 90k

highest ive seen for houses is - smalls 20k, mediums 75k, and large for 180k.

again about 100% markup/markdown difference,give or take a few k.

There is no set price- agreed

But if 90% of the architects are charging 120k for harvesters- why go against the majority and sell yours 20-40% less?

People arent stupid, but i dont think many actually understand the value.

Using 5 structural factories it takes me about a week to run off 2000-2200 walls.

another 4-5 days to run off all the components i need.

and another 3 days roughly for final assembly in those factories.

grand total = roughly 2 weeks from scratch give or take a few days. And thats if you can actually use 5 factories i know many using 2-3.

I always have 1k of most components already made, and 200 of the harvesting components. But a lot of people do not.

It takes a long time and a lot of factory money to run these off as well.

Low prices takes away from price used for energy for factories, maint, cost of resources, time spent making items for final assembly, and your time.

dont undercut your profit because others want to drop their prices, and always have a stocked vendor.

Well, I've been selling Heavies from 159K to 179Know for about 3 weeks (give or take) - only exception is Water which I sell at 99K. Only have a few mediums and they range from 49K to 79K. My factories I sell for 55K and have been selling them at that price for a month and a half.

On average, I've been selling 1 to 2 heavies per day and 1 to 2 factories per day. Since I started selling them (factories), I've soldclose to 90 (give or take).

That being said, I just saw someone the other night broadcasting at Coronet at 100K for heavies and 30K for mediums. Am I going to change my prices? No. Mind you, I'm not trying to sell them at high volumes either and I firmly believe my pricing is fair. I may bring it down by 10K or so in a bit but thats about as far as I'll go. Generally, I get sales because others are out of stock (actually had a customer tell me that) and you know, I'm ok with that.

Sorry Pawlin, felt I had to match that other architect. Other prominent architects were already at similar prices anyways.

Well here is an explanation for why this is happening:

The Best BER is 13, many people in your business now have acess to resources that can make a 13 BER, Many of the professional Miners already have fleets of their 13 BER Harvestors, and you are all competing for that shrinking Market.

A solution to Devaulation?

Make Havestors lose 1 BER point per weak to a minimum of:

Heavy: 5

Med: 3

Personal: 1

This will help not only you guys, but the guys like me that make a living off selling ore, the reason it helps me out is because crafters are going to get tired of switching in and out their havestors and guys like me will be given back a share of the Resouce market. Hell I can't sell my wares anymore because every crafter consistanly have20 Stacks of 100 K of the good resources(Baztards should have kept the miner profession in, friggin Dev's).

Architect is one of the screwy professions because your wares don't degrade(As you Know). That means prices are going to keep droping for your wares until your just making barely enough to stay afloat and there are only a few Architechts left on each server

Fusions for 110-115k

Hmm.. I think a good price is .. 170k BER 13,70k BER10and 3kpersonals.. with fusion at 150k .. ( actually I feel true value of these items are 2.5 times higher than this.. but with the current market and no one selling for true Value.. ( and before you say what gives me the right to say what true value is... on one of these "low priced" servers I just invested10k credits on 7 personal miners.. another 6k in power .. and 3k in maitance each... and in 4 days I made 800k... How much value did those 7 personal miners have for me?)

The whole point is just because one yahoo is going to sell for that price doesnt mean that everyone has too.. there are people selling that cheap on my server.. but I have yet.. (since the first day that we could make BER13) to lower my prices from the 165-180k range and I still sell a more than enough...

Also.. We cant Blame SOE for ruining our market while we drop our pants and make it easier for our customers to buy our product... I mean .. does it make sense to to say.. Hey .. our market will soon be 100% saturated.... I got an idea.. lets drop our prices so that instead of buying 1 my customers can buy 2.. that will slow down the rate of saturation.. (extreme stance only taken to make a point)

This is one of the reasons ill be quitting architect soon...several Architectson Radiant started to mass produce BER13 mineral miners for 100k and had vendors in prime spots, so my 120k ones didnt get a look in.

Ive just used my resources to make a final batch of 100 harvs, and am selling them for just under 100k. Not sure ive made a profit on Architect over the months but I hope so. At least on these ill make 45k profit per harv sold.
