So the one and only time that I see a topic locked and told to use the trade forums its for an architect asking other architects for pricing advice??
On the other hand the 500 people who have posted here in the past 9 months with WTB or WTS ads have not seen any action from the mods?

I wouldn't use the word odd in this context, but the word "stupid" does spring to mind.
I thought it was a very reasonable question to ask on this board and I hope many more take the opportunity to ask similiar questions. I mean where else should it be asked? And contrary to what Jeassa thinks, the Trade Forums are not the relevant place to ask.

I'm happy to see some moderator love here in terms of kicking the flat-out trade requests, so let's not get too riled up. I think there may have been a misfire here. (You know - like ready, fire, aim? 
)

WEll now that I think of it... someone might have drawn attention to the post for some reason. I think the mods generally only have time to react. So if that was the case then a hurried examination might result in a lock in this case.
I'll chalk it up to them being in a hurry.

Well, it is nice to see a little bit of help from the admins, but at the same time, they should check on what they are locking down too. I must agree with Zen, probably just a mis-fire. Oh well.
