Hey all. I'm a 2/4/4/3 Swordsman, and have finally made enough money to start pretty heavily in the Architect field. What I am wondering about though, is how I set up my lots to be the most effecient. We start out with 10 lots. How do I utilize those lots to the best possible effectiveness. I know I can go onto other server boards, and do lot trades, but that just sounds like to much of a hassel, that I don't want to deal with. So, with 10 lots, how would you start, and how would you work them? Right now I've got my only 2 Medium Harvesters (Planning to get more) pumping for Low-Grade Ore. I'm planning to stock up on each of the resources that we need a lot of, and then start working my way up. Does this sound like a plan? Any suggestions are much appreciated, thank you!

Zen did bring up some valid points in that thread, as did some of the others that contributed. I'm not a 'solo' architect, I have a 2nd account and utilize his lots so that I can maximize my harvesting potential.

For me, when I was a solo architect though, I used 2 lots for a medium house. I lived on Naboo, and love the medium house design.

I used my vendors for storage, as well as my bank deposit box and my houses normal storage capacity as well. I did not build anything to decorate my house up btw, I just used it for my business, nothing more than that.

I usually would mine in mass. Meaning that I would put all 8 harvesters down on ONE thing, and harvest it until I couldn't get it any longer. Whether it be Ore, Steel, Aluminum or Power, I put everything I had into that one resource. While I did that, I may have had to purchase a few 100k of resources to make items, but to me, it was worth it. Once I had surplus amounts of resources in stock, and trust me, with 8, BER 14 Fusions pulling in a 98% vein of Class 7 Radioactive, it stayed in stock for a while. I could also run my harvesters without worrying about checking them every few days too, because the hoppers were large enough to run most of the week without me dealing with them, and I always put tons of money on them as well, so I wouldn't have to check on them daily.

This is what worked for me, it may or may not work for you. You'll just have to find your own way to work it out, what may work for you now, may not when you reach master, but then again, you can always change to somthing better too.
