All the furniture items like chests, cabinets, armoires etc that sound like storage places are simply decorative. None of our furniture products act as containers.

But you can cheat and hide a backpack inside the furniture.
It's not the same, but it sure beats looking at backpacks floating in space.

Then why do I see open cabinets all the time? There is a code for it, its /(something). Its in a book that has a bunch of hints and tips on playing starwars. I am just curiouse what the code is.

There is no code to open cabinets.
Cabinets are decoration only.

never heard of a code to open furniture. decoration is all they are there for, oh and naming them cool things like liquor cabinets LOL where is my lockpick set again?

However, in a recent TH post, he mentioned that using cabinets for storage should be relatively easy to implement. My guess would be 2005 though..
