Architect Archive

Architect was my first class that I mastered. I loved it dearly and enjoyed it all the time. After building a city and then having the Mayor position passed on to me, I decided to pass along the Architect business to one of my alts. I still come here from time to time and see what's new with us. I've been displeased with the lack of new content for Architects for a long, long time. We got items to finally hold stuff but it was made retroactive so again, no new customers... With the new loot deal, we seem to have gotten some limited use schematics. While this is nice, I can't understand why we don't get a new perminate schematic or atleast all the varieties of trees and plants.

After leaving Architect with my main character, I took up Smuggler and have had fun with it. I frequent their boards for info and what not. What I found there this morning almost made me sick to my stomach. Please take a moment to read over this thread and let me know what you think of this. All I can say is, "What the hell?"

Ya I'm puzzled why they have an apparent furniture item that requires a smuggler skill to make it but architect factory and tool.

My best theory is that this is their way to get different professions to cooperate with one another. I expect they hope/assume that the smuggler will come to us for manufacturing? And if that happens it can end up benefiting 2 professions rather than just one.

You know..the more I look at it,..the more it reminds me of the hookah thing next to Jabba in his thrown room. Either his hookah or the tank he keeps his wiggly snacks in.

Perhaps it will have a spice related function later in the game, say after loot craziness two comes out. Only guessing,..but maybe itis more than just a house decoration use. Raising halluciogenic frogs perhaps? Should that be the case, maybe the item owner has to go to a CH, Scout, Ranger, what have you to catch a pair of frogs. Then the owner has to raise them and before you know it we have a market in frogs. It would be rather neat then, and it would be atool on par with our slicing knives, mole clamps, etc.

Happy to say that new varieties of plants and trees are coming, I have seen a few of them by poking around on my home server

I look forward to finding them in a loot revamp update soon.
