Thread: 1 use schematic question

Hi,
I recently acquired a technical console schematic. I learned it as soon as I made furniture 4 and it said the schematic has one use. So, can I make a another schematic of it with the resources I am using a then make more, or it is a one use item and that's it. I know with paintings people make two schematics and then can mass produce the paintings. Was wondering if I can do the same thing with this console - it looks kinda neat :-) I am currently 4/4/1/0 in architect skills.

you cant make factory runs witht eh looted schems so just craft it by hand

Nope. You can make ONE.
You can't make a factory schematic from it and it will disappear from your datapad after you make it.
This is part of the recent loot revamp. In the first couple of days after it was released it was possible to make factory runs from them but they took away that ability quickly.
By the way, there are two different versions of technical console. Personally, I think the one with the holo-display thingy is coolest.

Ok, so are these things rare then? I paid 30k for the schematic... please don't laugh if I was ripped off :-(

I don't think they're super rare but I wouldn't pay 30k for one. If you're lucky it's the one with the holo-display and you can probably sell it and make a profit.

Well a friend of mine just looted 25 of these from stormtroopers and then offerred them to me, so they arent very rare at all really. Now the leather couch is quite rare, at least on Chimaera, i might consider 30k for one of these.

FYI.... on my server the console goes for around 15k, you can find the schemtic for 6k or 7k but for some reason the console goes for double that, I made 30 of them the other day and only have 10 left..... who knows.. the Leather couch is going for 20k - 30k , you used to be able to be to make factory runs of these and I found a factory crate of 10 for 100k, so I snagged that up the bubble tank is going for around 100k - 125k...

I find the tech consoles and tanned hides on the public bazaar easily enough so those schematics should be <6k value. When I make the tech consoles, the one with holo panels sell fairly well at 29k.
The blue couches and end tables are a bit more rare. But not super rare. I'd put those in the 20-50k range if I were to guess.
One called 'Radar Screen' is apparently very rare.

I sell all of them on my vendor for about 75k, and they have been selling well. I am actually going to come down on those prices to around 30k or so in the next few days. As for future schematics, check the bazzar under Misc -> general. I see tons there for 500-6k each.

same here on our server...pretty common i have to admit. i realized after setting up this auction with 5k for each schematic that they are cluttering up the bazaar for 2k (same with luke posters)
